Social media called out a Japanese news reporter and his crew who were reporting from the city of Sukayu, a hot spring town in northern Japan. The NHK reporter started his opening standup with:
“As you can see, so much snow has piled up that it’s as high as my waist.”
Not exactly the situation. A local resident who was watching the reporter took her own photos and tweeted out what was really going on.
He’s standing in a snow bank. Talk about a snow job!
