“Mother of a Beat” is a full-throttle ’80’s dance album built to move bodies and lift spirits from the very first pulse. I wrote the words & music for every one of these songs. Each track is anchored in rhythm – thick, hypnotic basslines, bright synth hooks, and beats that snap with the confidence of someone who owns the dance floor. It blends classic ’80’s shimmer with modern pop energy, creating an addictive rush that feels both nostalgic and fresh. The album doesn’t just play; it drives, it commands, it invites you into a world where melody, motion, and momentum take over. “Mother of a Beat” isn’t background music—it’s a heartbeat, a workout, a release, and a neon-lit celebration of pure, joyful movement. I am so excited to include this album in my discography! Five of the songs – Touch Me There, Stranger In The Mirror, Inner Strength, You Look At Me, and The Only Road To You – were written in the ’80’s as ballads – but never ended up being recorded because I just felt they were so weak. Decades later, I transformed them into 80’s-style dance tracks – and now they jumped to life! So honored that you are listening!
